Madhu (Ma-due) Anderson is a common-sense conservative republican. Madhu is pro-life and pro 2nd amendment. She raised her three children in Bath Township where she and her husband Patrick have lived for over 20 years.
Madhu is a leader with experience on the key issues affecting Michigan taxpayers and residents. During her career in public service, she worked on state tax policy, educational performance initiatives, and state energy policy. As Michigan’s Deputy State Treasurer in the 1990’s, Madhu worked with a team that reformed Michigan’s school finance system and cut residential and business taxes, earning Michigan a coveted AAA bond rating.
Madhu also serves her community as a member and Treasurer for a local arts organization.
Madhu received her Master’s in Public Policy from the Gerald R. Ford School at the University of Michigan. She holds an A.B. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
